Earthquake Chile

We were studying about the top 8 earthquakes around the world recorded from 1960 to 2005.

Our Class Display

 Our 2021 class display is the big tree located on the right hand side when you walk into R3. Each of us contributed to the class display (the tree), we all made a leaf about us. Some people made leaves with the C.A.R.R values and our class treaty on it. We have also included some birds, a squirrel, rabbits and a dog. My contributions for the tree was with the leaves, birds and the squirrel. I think the tree looks pretty unique and original. Things we could of done better were probably the trunk and the branches. If we had more time we could coloured it a bit neater and we could of added more branches.

Sheep Heart Dissection

 Aim: To explore the heart 

Methods (Materials): Scalpel, Heart, Tray, Gloves, Scissors, Newspaper.

Findings: On the outside we could see the blood vessels, apex, fat. In the inside we could see the right and left atrium and ventricle. Also the left divider was more tender than the right. The texture of the heart was slimy, tender and squishy.

How did you feel about starting back at school?   

I feel weird coming back to school and out of routine.

What has been your favorite thing so far?

I think it would be meeting all my new friends and the teachers.

What has been surprising about school? (something you didn’t know)

I thought I would get lost on the first day of school but I managed to get around the school without any problems.

Which subjects are you taking this year?

Business studies, Wood works and ICT  for the first semester and I don’t remember what I am doing for the other semester.

What are you looking forward to this year?

Meeting new people and making new friends.
